About CFSC Training:

The first step towards obtaining your PAL firearms licence is to complete the national safety training: The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC).

The CFSC is a 1-day course with a Certified Instructor (Dave). It provides theoretical and practical gun safety training. It is divided into modules that will cover the safe handling, transport, and storage of **non-Restricted** firearms (most rifles and shotguns). There are a total of 14 modules taught over 8 hours that will cover the essentials of each firearm type, safe handling, storage, transport, and laws. At the end of the course you’ll be tested on the knowledge and skills you acquired that day.

8 Hour Course – $125.00

Advanced Registration is required. A manual for loan and PAL application will be supplied upon registration and payment.

You will need to bring: Proper ID: any recognized government ID (Passport/Driver's License/Government Issued Photo Card)
